It is more important now than ever that we learn to see from the perspectives of those who are raised in cultures different from our own and gain a healthy respect and understanding of those perspectives.

____IBA exists to support students on their journey toward global citizenship. We provide the connections, resources, networking opportunities, and mentorship necessary to help students create their own unique path toward a truly global career. We encourage travel, exploration, curiosity, and the insatiable need to learn. We pledge to never fear things that are foreign to us or different. We embrace change, delight in similarities, but relish the differences across cultures.
Our Purposes
The International Business Association of San Jose State promotes international careers, studying abroad, strong global leadership, and building interpersonal connections with fellow business students Mainly, the International Business Association (IBA) seeks to provide value through:
1) Encouraging students to engage in studying abroad and international internships by conducting seminars and creating network opportunity
2) Increasing awareness and appreciation of different cultures and global business trends.
3) Providing career development and exploration throughout San Jose State University's COB and the multinational companies of Silicon Valley.

Membership Details
Network with International Business students and Professionals
We are an open organization that welcomes students from all majors! That being said, this is a must-have on your resume if you are an International Business major. While other majors like Marketing, Human Resources, and Accounting have classes and organizations to augment their network and learning experience, we are the only place and organization where IB majors can gather and meet one another in an international business-emphasized setting.
